PRAYER THOUGHT
Resting wakefully is Prayer. Acknowledge, in such times, that you are in the Beloved, and the Beloved is in you. Your presence, breathing, and surrender in this passive, mutual-indwelling Love is Worship.

A powerful message from a young Christian, one that applies to all of us, of whatever religious faith or no religious faith. We need, now, to learn together to live in our diversity with respect, seeking of mutual-understanding, and graciousness.
Nonviolence is not a garment to be put on and off at will. Its seat is in the heart, and it must be an inseparable part of our being.

Once you truly begin seeing from your heart with universal Love, boundless Presence, and not just talk about it as an ideal, you will never again be able to see as you once did, regardless of the apparent justifications to do so that others give you. Why? Your heart has been transformed to see in such a way, by Love to Love. And, once you see in such a way, you will never want to see again as you did, regardless of the cost personally it might be to you. To see with this universal Embrace is your most natural state, your childlike innocence, but likely few will support your seeing in this way. For you to see with such Grace means your seeing challenges even the so-called sacred institutions, groups, and teachings in our world that continue in the name of God, or religion, or politics to give little more than lip service to this profound depth of Presence we all share. Indeed, no one can love this way by effort of personal will, only by the gift of inner transformation by Love Itself. The Universal arises only from the Spirit, not from the personality, not from the person as separate, but as One in Oneness with everyone, already. So, this seeing is a recognition, a remembering, a rediscovery, not finding anything that is not already true.
